Hi,
I just bought an Energcia Esse Esse 9+ RS. It is a 2022 model and the logo on the tank does not flash either on start up and when charging. The owners manual states that in the settings under "heart beat" you can adjust it to one of five different settings.
On my bike when I go into settings there is no "heart beat" sub menu. Now the manual also states that not all models have this function so as I can,t find the "heart beat" menu then it is assumed that my bike does not have this function which I find strange as this is the "top spec" bike (according to the dealer I bought it from). I have asked him about four days ago and he has still not got back to me so I am hoping someone out in the wild would know the answer.
Thanks.
Regards

Is it the standard black tank cover, or the optional carbon part?
The carbon tank cover has no LEDs or illuminated logo and no heart beat settings in the menu.

Hi,
Thanks, the dealer was making a great point of the carbon upgrades on the bike and yes one of them is the carbon tank strip. Thanks, now I know.
It's a pity because I would have liked the flashing motif on the tank.

Fortunately, this forum has a nice feature - you can post pictures ;D ;D ;D
Below you see the carbon cover and my '22 Ribelle (not a good view on the cover, but I think this should do).
If you have the standard black cover with the LED, the reason why you shouldn't be able to activated them is maybe an old firmware version.
What version your bike is currently having? Latest number is xxxx.44 as far as I know. The '22 models originally had the xxxx.42.

so you go settings > electric beat

Not entirely sure, mine works but.
If you turn it on, maybe it then gives you the menu of which beat you want to use?
