That is not the first time a Zero has failed @ the Neck. But still you need a good 175+ pound rider and a good amount of air to do that. My guess is bad weldment around the neck. AKA lack of penetration into the neck tube. No recall will be done over this. I can think of some other items that would be worth a recall but not the frame.
Just my guess.......larger neck tube on MX with no change in gussets on frame to neck, lack of penetration into the tube.
