Title: 2022/ 2023 SRF & SRS
Post by: RZ on February 04, 2024, 10:46:40 PM
Hi all, there do not appear to be any comments - good or bad - regarding the latest versions of the SR platform, that's 2022/3 SRF, SRS and SR. Cant find much on the DSR range either.

Does this mean the faults on the 2019-2021 bikes have been fixed, or that the bikes are simply not selling? It would be great to get some feedback..

I've got a 2022 SR/F and can report they have not sorted out the water ingress (Isolation Fault) issue.
My bike has been in twice already - once in Feb 2023, and then again in Dec 2023.
My bike also had a front brake disc warp issue twice - it has been in once for replacement discs already and I'm just waiting for the dealer to let me know when to come in to have them replaced again.
All covered under warranty but it's still incredibly frustrating.
Interestingly my 2019 SR/F never had any issues with brake discs, although it did have the water ingress issue.

Same here, two new chargers (Premium) under warranty. Regarding the battery it was replaced twice under warranty. Beside those, everything is doing fine and I am eagerly looking forward to warmer days.

for the brakes, already changed twice on my 2021 srs
I put EBC, and since then it's great, I have real brakes.
despite 2 new chargers, recently I had insulation problems, yesterday I removed the controller, and cleaned greased all the joints, the connector of the controller was incorrectly replaced, and its joint was pinched, as some dealers say, are very bad.
I hope to be able to try driving in the rain this week to see if my problem is resolved.

I am looking into this as well, is there a video or work around available for this (e.g. part numbers, procedures, etc.)?

I have a 2021 SR/S, and got my battery changed under warrenty last fall. All fine since then. Have had some rides in the rain, but the Isolation Error never showed up (fingers crossed though..)

I have a 2022 SR that is on the same platform. I can't speak to the water ingress issue because I'm a dry weather rider in Southern California. My bike has almost 9000 miles on it and not a single issue with my bike.

Note that the battery for the 2022+ models is completely different than the earlier models. I haven't heard of any "Magic Charging" or battery failures with the 2022+ models so far.

So far, no isolation fault on my 22 SR/S. I do have a very minor front brake pulsation, but I have no plans to address it. I've had my cellular module replaced under warranty.

I bought a 23 at a much higher prices than the new unsold 21-22 models because of the new battery pack, and supposedly fixing some of the old issues.  I've talked to several dealers and they believe that the belt issues, water issues, and random other things were addressed for this year.  Mine has been perfect.
