I really like the Michelin road tires, think Ill try the 6's

Yup, managed about 7500 on the factory rear tyre my Ribelle came with and I needed a new one. The shop put a sport touring tyre on for me instead of a sport one and it's coming up on 9k now.
The front fared a lot better but had to be replaced at around 10k because it was worn unevenly, I got another Diablo Rosso since it hadn't offended me.
I used to run all Michelins but I did notice they cost me a little mileage on my VFR so I'll be interested to hear your experiences with them.

I ended up changing my rear tire after running over something that couldn't be plugged at 4k miles and put the michelin 6's on the back. I really l ike the way they feel on the road, and being florida is very prone to rain and standing water, having that deep groove for water removal really is a benefit too IMO.

Keep in mind the Pilot Road 6's do not have the rounded profile that the Diablo Rosso's have so leaning into turns will not be as easy.

When I went to the Road 6 GTs on my Ribelle I found that with my traction control on the highest setting, it would almost always kick in under hard acceleration. I don’t think the any of the sport touring tires can handle the torque the Energica’s put out.
I liked them for commuting and tread life but if I were looking for more performance I would stick with the Pirellis despite the short tread life.

I have the Michelin Power 5 now for ~2k km on my Ribelle.
On low speed (in the city) it's feeling a bit more nervous than the Rosso 3, but it's traction, precision, stability, and cornering speed is great on higher speeds, also on rather bad roads.
No problems with acting traction control, also under full throttle acceleration (Track Mode, TC Level 1).
Can't tell about the mileage, but to be honest ... i don't care :-)
The Power 5 is definitely a recommendation.

It's good to know that I am not the only one wringing more than 10,000 km from a tyre set.
Just got a new set (third one in total, all Diablo Rosso 3) two weeks ago, having 24,000 km on the clock.
When I told the workshop guys they all made large eyes bc most ICE apparently manage to get only about 6,000 out of it.
My traction control is on the second highest setting ('5' I think) and I guess that's the reason for the high mileage.

Have a tad over 10,500km on my Experia with the OEM Pirelli Scorpion Trail-II tyres ...and they're not even 1/2 worn yet....they're relatively hard compared to most S/T tyres I suspect. My next set will be the Continental Road Attack 3 for the rear and Sport Attack 4 on the front....already have them in the shed but just waiting till the Pirelli's are done.

I got 8,500mi out of my stock tires on my SS9 and swapped to Bridgestone T32s. Really like the profile better of the Bridgestones and have no complaints so far (1500mi in).

Thanks for all the input. Just got them on and do have one question that I cannot find an answer to...
I let them know the torque specs and verified that the rear was way tighter than it should be when I go home and put it back to the 51 foot pounds.
However, im not sure how to check the front. Looks like it might be a 30 mm on the left side? I have a 22mm head axle tool that fits the right side. Can I just use that to adjust the torque?
