Title: 2010 zero mx battery rebuild with gen 2 ni-mh Prius battery
Post by: Randomfishplantdude420 on December 29, 2022, 07:40:46 AM
Would it be possible to get the bms working with 7 or so ni-mh Prius batteries? I got a pack from a gen 2 Prius for cheap and the batteries tested good. They are about the same voltage range as the Nissan leaf cells and I think they would fit in the case but I'm not 100% sure about charging them with the QuiQ charger.

Got the bms hooked up and the lights just flash. Won't work with the QuiQ charger but I'm working on wiring to get it working. Plugged the battery into the bike and the bike seems to function normally. Working on modifying the bms to accept the battery and charge the battery with the QuiQ charger. For now I'm going to be working with a balance charger. Should easily be able to fit 14 battery modules in the zero battery case and get it working. If anyone wants pictures or more info let me know
