Title: Trying to connect a SB75XBRN cable
Post by: Codeh002 on November 07, 2022, 10:50:36 PM
Hi All, I am trying to install an Sb750XBRN connector so I can use a 3rd party charger. I have crimped the poles onto the end of the wire and pushed them in and heard a "click" everywhere online says the little metal tabs need to fully cover the thin tab. I have pushed and pushed and I cannot get them to go in any further.

Any help on what I might be doing wrong?

Are they upside down? Meaning the contact has a detent that clicks into the housing spring. It only goes one way. Should click in and you shouldn’t be able to pull it out (unless you release the spring)

Thanks for the reply, managed to connect with someone who was able to advise me the company sent the wrong pins. I was given SB pins and not SBS pins which are slightly longer.
