Title: saying Hi
Post by: mark S on November 07, 2022, 10:21:16 PM
Hi All,
thanks for allowing me in.
I have been riding bike without a break for over 40 years and i always wondered what an EV bike would be like.
I am in the process of buying a Energica Experia.
when i went a road tested the ENERGICA EVA RIBELLE TRICOLORE i think it is right to say i was blown away.
Star wars X fighter speed with the same sound track! the handling through the twists was perfect and regen made the ride affectively one control riding. no need for brakes.
my only complaint was the riding position was not for me and i trapped my right thumb between the tank and the bars on full right lock. That hurt! the bars had been set back too far.
I decided to go for the Experia because it is slightly less powerful, should do more mile/charge, come with luggage and the bars are wider.
We will not discuss how much! walls have ears!
I do have a question - does anyone know who the ,main importer is for Energica?

Energica themselves handle all the importing. In the US everything is routed through the Service Center in South San Francisco. Traditionally bikes would come into the port of Oakland, CA, but it is hopelessly backed up with no indication of clearing up anytime soon. Therefore it's actually faster to ship bikes into Miami, offload them onto trucks, drive them to South San Francisco so the crew can give them a once-over and go through their checklist, then ship to customers/dealers.

While I've not had a chance to see the Experia myself, I suspect it will be ergonomically a lot more relaxed than the Ribelle. I have an SS9 with over 40,000 miles on it and the Experia is the first thing catching my eye to make me consider it my next bike. Really looking forward to test riding it. In the meantime congratulations! And ride safe.

Same here and I was told I would have it in September. I ordered the first minute possible on June 1. I paid my 3K$ the next day and never heard a single word about it since.

Maybe by springtime?
