Title: USA: Right to Repair Legislation

This should be of particular interest to us, as I know Zero makes it VERY difficult to get service done outside of their (minimal) dealership network.  I don't know how bad (or good) the other eMoto manufacturers are:

I doubt if any other cycle repair places would want to deal with Zero and other electric brands. Even the Zero shops have difficulty finding people who understand electric bikes well enough to fix them.  And there is the specialized equipment issue. Such as if you change a motor, how do you commission it?

I'm sure veterinarians felt similarly when the internal combustion engine threatened horse breeders... Time waits for no man or profession.  Adapt, or die.
