Title: ON-DASH NAVIGATION (BETA)
Post by: GrantMeStrength on September 14, 2022, 04:41:48 AM

Looking forward to seeing this appear, especially if I don't have to visit my dealer first..

ON-DASH NAVIGATION (BETA)

Plug in your destination on the Zero App and get your turn-by-turn directions displayed on your dash so you don’t have to pull over to check for directions. Avoid getting lost… you can still choose to go the long way if desired.

Free beta version available in app:

MY21 SR/F, SR/S

MY22 SR, SR/F, SR/S

MY23 DSR/X, SR, SR/F, SR/S

I'm not bothered nor care about it. There's no chance in hell this works better than simply mounting your phone to the handlebars, and using a mature supported app for navigation.

I can't fathom why they've not integrated Android Auto. Or that Apple thing (hiss, boo, spit, etc)

Cas :)

It doesn't appear to be possible to purchase it for the 2020, so maybe it's also included in th efree beta. I don't believe there's any difference between the 2020 and 2021 bikes.

I think it's "coming soon". Zero seem to have they're own definition of soon, but I can imagine an app update will have to be rolled out in time for customers receiving their DSR/X. It would make sense for it to be in there.

Here's hoping that the delays are because Zero have fired the original app developers and got someone else to rewrite it from the ground up... (Unlikely, but we can dream).
