I came across this specification chart for the 2017 Zero motorcycle range in my computer files. I bought my 2018 S in November 2017, so those specifications would also apply to the model that I have, which is the ZF13.0+Power Tank. They claim a battery life of 455,000 miles. If you believe that I have a bridge to sell you and maybe some Florida seaside frontage, too. ;)

Having more battery (such as the power tank) with the same load does a lot for the life of the battery. The 455,000 miles is based on a loss of 20% of your range (better than Tesla who uses 30% of loss of range to consider a battery to be bad).
You may now try to sell me a bridge and maybe some Florida seaside frontage, too, because I can believe the battery can last 455,000 miles / 732KM and still have 80% of your range left if not mistreated as much as mine (I normally charge to 100% SOC).

Do you think the chassis components would last that long? And what motorcycle rider would travel 455,000 miles at city speeds? That would likely take a lifetime. ;) In any case, I am pretty sure Zero no longer makes those mileage claims for their Gen 3 bikes.

I never said the 455k miles was a useful spec., just that it was probably accurate. The third gen bikes would be less, just for being heavier bikes, would eat into how long the battery will last. The more load for the same battery will be more work the battery has to do which will cause it's longevity to be less.
