Title: Adaptable LED turn signals for SRF
Post by: Moto7575 on July 11, 2022, 02:57:15 AM
Hi !

I changed the turn signals on a FXS for cheap but nice led signals. I heared that for Zero SRF (which have non led lights) it sometimes does not work. Any experience with that ? Do you have links for models that actually work & less expensive than Zero's (solde for 160 €, whereas cheap but great one can be found for 10 times less) ?

In order configure your motorcycle to accept LED turn signals without hyper-flashing, you need to change the accesory_configuration entry in the Settings section of the Main Bike Board (MBB) Console.  The exact value required depends on your onboard charger configuration and whether or not you have heated grips installed.  I installed Weiser Technik LEDs on my SR/S.

Yes, they do.  The procedures for aftermarket LED turn signals are the same as for the Zero items.

Yes, they have to do that when mounting the Zero own LED signals which came about a year later. They did it on mine for third party LED signals, it works perfectly. We cannot do it ourselves as the access to most parts of the SR/F software is password protected.
