Not according to the article. More like, "The MetaCycle is about to join the rest of things stuck in cargo containers for the next few months."

Also unless you pay them an additional $700 your bike doesn't arrive assembled?

my preorder # is 2914 and their rep told me that I could receive mine in the second round of deliveries by Q3-Q4 of this year.

Reviews are looking ok. For the price, it's a cool looking commuter. Seems like the specs are way optimistic and it's slower to accelerate than claimed though.
