Title: ZeNGo App Questions
Post by: karlh on June 09, 2022, 05:02:02 PM
For those of you using the ZeNGo Android app (not the Zero Motorcycles official app) , here are some questions:

1.  Is your odometer readout correct?  Mine is always approximately 70 miles lower than the mileage on the dash.

2.  Does the odometer readout change when switching from imperial units to metric units?  Mine does not.  Only the label changes (mi to km).

3.  What time zone is used for the Actual date reading below the SoC circle?  Zulu?

Hi Karl,

The odometer is not in sync with the dashboard. I think this data is from the CCM (comunication module) that tracks distances based on GPS. I have got a new CCM and ZeNGo started odometer count from 0. You will also see, that the difference between the dash and the app will go bigger over time since the odometer is a couple of percent off showing higher numbers than the GPS tracker.

The timestamp is indeed zolo timezone since this data is from GPS. I think it would be not rocket science to translate it to local time in the app but this is something Hans has to do I guess:)

You are right that switching between imperial and metric units does not affect the odometer readout. I see km in my case regardless what I configure in the app. I have to admit I never tried this before.

I believe the time is UTC/GMT as I'm in the uk and it was correct during the winter and an hour behind now.

Thanks to both of you for clearing things up.
