Any interest in a barely used TeslaTap Mini 40A for $200? I need to charge a 48A J1772 vehicle (not my bike) and need to get a 48A adapter instead.
Located in metro NYC area but will ship at buyer's expense and choice of carrier.

I made the same mistake when I bought my Tesla Tap Mini. Should have gone bigger.
It looks like the amp rating of the Tesla Taps are for continuous load, so I figure I can just set my truck to 40A if I need to use the adapter to charge. It's not my primary charging method so not a huge issue.

Whats the continuous output you get from your TeslaTap mini? Can you get 9kW+ continuous at the appropriate stations?
If so, would you be interested in trading in with me? I have a 50A TeslaTap: http://www.umc-j1772.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=99
I feel like I can use the smaller one ass its more convenient to put in my backpack.

My Energica is limited to 3KW so I personally haven’t pushed more than that. I’d be open to a trade if it meets your need.
My quick and dirty Googling reports that the TeslaTap MINI 40 compatible with ALL US built EV's with a continuous charge rate up to 40 AMPS @250VAC (10KW)
So if that's accurate, sounds like this should fit the bill for you. Please confirm it as well and if it works for you, hit me up and we can arrange for a trade.

That sounds good to me! I have an SR/F standard with 9kW of total charging capacity so 40A is good enough I guess. Let's do the trade. I'll send you a DM here :)
