I charge my 2020 SR/S Premium at home using the factory-supplied TurboCord charging cable plugged into a standard 120 VAC outlet. As a Premium, my bike has two 3 kW chargers. When I first plug in the charging cable the dash shows only 6 A charging current and 0.6 kW charging rate, which doesn't match the TurboCord specs. If I press and release the release button on the coupler, the charging current increases to 12 A and the charging rate increases to 1.2 kW. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Yes - it turns out pressing and holding the button on the cord changes the output, which goes some way to explaining why it's so outrageously expensive. I can't remember the exact duration of a press but the blue light flashes a number of times according to how much current it's going to deliver.

Interesting. I've never seen that behavior discussed in any of the available manuals.
