Title: JJUAN 32/30MM FRONT CALIPER SDS Rebuild Kit? (2016 DSR)
Post by: ESokoloff on May 19, 2022, 05:51:38 PM
The front brake on my 2016 DSR seems to have excess drag & I'm thinking a rebuild is in order (72k miles & 4 or 5 pad changes).
It’s my understanding that replacement parts are hard to impossible to obtain.
Does anyone know where to get rebuild parts?
Anyone upgrade to Brembo?
TIA

I was trying to get a Brembo or Beringer or some other modern sport bike caliper to work. Couldn’t find anything that would bolt on as the spacing is odd. 55mm? On center bolts. I might have a low mileage caliper lying around I’ll sell you cheap.

This is the only 55mm caliper I've managed to find. They also list other models it's compatible with (I don't know whether it would actually fit a Zero, if there are more requirements beyond the bolt spacing), none of them have decent stock brakes (Tokico and Nissin) but perhaps it will help finding after market calipers or adapters.
