I am just about to order the new 2022-model Essesse 9+. The original windshield on this bike is a whopping 280 euros... and it is so small that I seriously doubt it will do much good. So, I am looking for a medium sized windshield (universal?) that will fit this bike.
Anyone know of a windshield that wil fit the bike, and which does not cost 330 dollars / 280 euros ?

You spent $22k on a bike that requires zero maintenance but balk at $320 for an OEM windscreen? Brother, I will sell you my OEM windscreen for $100 so I can buy a new one that isn’t cracked.

Doesn't exist. Just some bikes require less than others.

You are missing my point. The problem is that the OEm Windscreen is as small as a postal stamp, and nowhere near as good as the more decent one that comes with the Ribelle. Essesse's OEM windshield is for looks only. I will gladly pay $320 for a decent windscreen, IF it is a decent windscreen. Which the OEM is not.
Now, why should i pay for something that doesn't work for me ? Even though I paid good money for the bike, I am not interested in forking out more money on things that has no use for me.
So, the reason I want another option is not the price in itself, but that I want something that works better.
Now, I am sure you can understand that. And you can keep your OEM windscreen, mate :-)

I would like to put in a good word for the National Cycle Deflector Screen DX. It should fit fine on the tubular handlebars of the EVA and will provide a decent amount of protection. Plus, once you get the bar attachments installed, you can remove and reinstall the windshield in just a few seconds by turning a couple of large plastic knobs. I have used that windshield on all of my motorcycles with standard handlebars for years and have been very happy with both the design and coverage. National Cycle offers both clear and tinted shields. They are sold on Amazon for a lot less than you would pay buying them directly from National Cycle's website.

I believe the Puig Up&Down fits both the Esse and Ribelle. I'm also a fan of bigger windscreens especially for the winter season.

Zero maintenance is not true. Tires, brakes, chain, lubrication, and coolant. But much reduced, due to not attempting to produce, contain, and direct explosions of toxic fossil substances

Screen looks pretty good!
Is the mount something that comes with the screen or is that from the Ribelle original screen?
Can't really decide on the original screen or not (if I end up buying a new) so the answer to the above would help me sort it out.
