Title: Aftermarket or Used Charge Tanks

I'm brand new here and I just bought a 2017 DSR. Currently it has the Storage Tank, but I have a need to install the Level 2 charger on the bike. It feels wrong to go out and buy a brand new charge tank for the bike, so I was hoping there was an after market solution or somewhere I could find used ones.

I searched on this forum for a bit and didn't find an answer, so I apologize in advanced if this is a common question!

Does anyone know a solution for this?

edit- and I've never seen anyone part out or sell an OEM Charge Tank, nor would I expect to, really.

Some of the charging function may have to be modified on a 17 to make it work.

Just from my memory it may be a charge fuse being too low. Zero used to have all the model year specs on their site but took it all down.
I just seem to remember the the 6kw charge tank was only for 2018 and newer bikes.
A charger that goes through the aux port is a different matter most likely.

They made me a setup last year including the correct Anderson Connector, etc. Combine that with a j1772 adapter from tucson ev, and you get much faster charging than from the on board charger alone.
