Title: Ribelle - INNOVV K5 camera install complete.
Post by: EVriderDK on February 13, 2022, 05:28:11 AM
I have just installed this camera system. This is how I have installed it.
Now I need to cut a hole or do something about the rear grill part. - Any ideas? I was thinking about replacing it with a thing acrylic plastic piece, or cutting a hole in it with some kind of cool shape to it?

I'm thinking of doing the same install when my Ribelle arrives.  I can't visualize where that rear camera is and where you would need to cut the hole.  Can you tell/show me more?  Thx.

I don't know how to cut the hole yet put I guess that I will cut the hole in some kind of pattern, maybe like a drop. Guess I can use a cup drill and then cut a bit with the dremmel.

I might recommend painting that mesh black on both sides.  Then when you cut the hole for the camera it won't be nearly as noticeable.  I'm expecting the mesh screen is functional as a cooling vent for the items under the seat.  If it isn't functional, then replace with a piece of clear plastic you can tint to help it blend and hide the camera.
