Title: 2013 Zero S speedometer reads ridiculously low

I read an old post in which someone described a white button on the bottom of the speedometer cluster, which one can apparently use to enable calibration of the speedometer/odometer.  In that string they also describe the use of a four digit code.  My problem is, I cannot find that button to even begin the sequence.  I am in California and I presume mine is a CA model (if there is such a thing and if it makes a difference).  Can someone provide further insight?  When I say it reads low, it's very low - like maybe 50%.  Thanks very much.

I seem to recall that the 2012 Zero's were able to calibrate their speedometers, but I don't think that feature made it into the 2013 bikes and beyond.  ???  I imagine that resetting the odometer would be illegal in most states.

My '13 is like most bikes - reads about 10% high.

I think calibration involves getting serial access over USB (https://zeromanual.com/index.php?title=How_to_build_a_cable_to_access_the_MBB&oldid=7156) and then adjusting the variables spfront, sprear, rwhcirc (https://zeromanual.com/wiki/MBB_Console#Commands).

But 50% off seems too much to calibrate away. Is ABS working? Could the front or rear ABS sensors be somehow damaged or gummed up? Maybe they're used for speed sensing?

Curt, yeah no ABS on 13s.
Marc, have you checked you speed on GPS?
Asking because my 13 is dropping power  sooner as it ages.

But bike uses the motor speed to calculate bike speed.
If it is way off then a sensor may be failing.

I'm not sure what is wrong with my speedometer, but I would appreciate it if someone would provide their speed in MPH at each 1K RPM level on their own 2013 Zero S motorcycle (or that make model which they know is similar).  Otherwise, the bike seems to be operating well as I still get great distance from it and no charging problems.  Thanks all!
