On the one hand... yay, my SR/F is suddenly worth another grand.
On the other hand... what a fucktarded backward decision to make when they were already really rather struggling to convince people they need to shift NOW not in 10 years when we'll all be under water etc.

I seem to have read they are funding/investing in/partnering with Triumph on their electric top of the line top of the performance envelope model. These grants are for the more utilitarian less costly models. I read the cost figure will include VAT and delivery fees that is used to determine amount of the monies awarded.

Agreed. The tax nudge has worked well for electric cars so I could understand the tax incentive removal there, but for electric motorbikes? There are realistically only three brands* to select from if you want 'normal' bike features (100+ mile range, 70mph) - the party has barely got started.
