Title: 2019 Eva SS9 red blinking light on dash, no power
Post by: EVASS9539 on December 07, 2021, 12:45:21 AM
Hello, New E bike owner here with a "little" problem I hope!!! I picked up a lightly wrecked 2019 EVA (the tow truck driver and forklift operator did the most damage) and it will not power on or accept a 110 charge. There is a red light blinking on the upper left of the cluster.  The tow yard did show me a picture from September showing the cluster powered with 15% battery.

I plan to take it to AF1 but it is a 3 hour drive so looking for any help troubleshooting before I do.

 Thanks

If the bike was at 15% 3 months ago the pack voltage has probably dropped below the voltage required to turn on.

The red light on the dash is a good sign as the battery has probably not discharged to the point of damage. A dealer can provide external 12v power to the bike and likely be able to charge it.

Thanks for the reply, Im trying to get ahold of AF1 to bring it in but is this something that can be done with a motorcycle trickle charger or car charger at home?
