Title: Possible motrcycle trailer option
Post by: NEW2elec on July 23, 2021, 04:40:55 AM
I was looking for something a little different when I came across this video.
It seems innovative with a few extra features like a center bike stand and caster wheel to move it while trailered by itself.

That's all I know about it.  It has an Email address if interested.

I'll have to shoot them an email but a couple of important questions come to mind:

It also requires 12" of clearance on the bike. My FXS currently sits with 11" of clearance, so it's probably not very useful for most Zeros or street bikes in general.

Yeah I saw the clearance being 10 inches in one of the comment replies on the video.
He said problem was the trailer tire sits up that high.  To me it just needs a small wielded short axial and either offset the tire or just use 2 on either side of the bike frame.

The rest of it seems about perfect for an occasional hauler.

Bigpoppa, I see a plate holder on the back so unless CA has laws against a 1 wheeler it should be able to be registered.
I've got one of those sideways hitch haulers to avoid the trailer tag here in GA myself.  But this sure would be easier to load up.
As for speed, just my opinion is it looks to be the same sized tire as is on dad's boat trailer so about 55-60 MPH.

Cool idea!  Someone needs to get one and give us a review.  Would love to be able to take my SR/S along on vacation using something like this.

Looks like an awesome wheelie bar when it's folded up!
