So Sam has sold his Ego and is planning on buying 2 bikes for him and Jen to ride through NZ with.
Those with insider info are disqualified from the guessing game.
I'll guess 2 SS9+ bikes with 2 SRSs with max charging as a second choice.

Sam talks about some folks getting upset when he bought the Ego or other choices he went with. People are people I guess.
To me Sam is one of the best Electric Motorcycle ambassadors going today. His videos are well made, informative, backed by years of experience with the platforms. He always shows the pros and cons and walks the walk and doesn't just talk the talk.
His videos have achieved the main and most important goal of all, encouraging people to get into electric motorcycles by just sharing why he loves them so much. The beautiful NZ scenery doesn't hurt either.

Considering Sam already mentioned that DC fast charging 2 bikes at the same time is not ideal and they would have to do it sequentially, I think it's going to be 2 SR/S's or 2 SR/F's with 12kW charging. Amongst these I would likely vote for the SR/S's 😁

Considering he can easily get side and top cases for both the SR/S and SR/F for road trips, it's a toss up. I don't see him going with older tech like DSRs or anything. I think the SR/S is a bit more his style.

If I still bet on the Zero, it's probably an SR/F? But now that you mention track days, is it even a Zero? If you're not doing too many laps then i guess still somewhat possible ;)

As a Damon reservation holder and main contributor, I take it all back. This guy is a fraud and a traitor.
Should be called NewJudasLand. I bet he uses a diesel generator to charge his bikes, with an extra high sulfur mixture.
He might just be sitting on a prop bike in front of a green screen with Lord of the Rings projected on it to look like he is touring NZ.

It's a good thing you're going this route because if you had gotten a sidecar Jen might have made you ride in it while she was tucked pinning that throttle like she did with that Alta. ;) She aint no hollaback girl.
The whole field of electric motorcycles is getting very exciting again after a bit of a plateau for a few years. Good times await.

Hahaha yeah man! This is a huge step forward. My hope is to put those service intervals to the test and do some epic road trips soon.
Meanwhile, I saw Damon's battery is going to be the same size as Energica's now. Is 21.5 the magic number??

We'll see on the Damon side. The team was going on a road trip this last weekend to film some "footage".
If I'm allowed I'll post it when they put it out.
It's a long shot but the Fortnine channel did a downer type video about the state of electric motorcycles. Maybe he is going to follow up with one covering the Canadian home grown Damon.

I hope so, man! I realize Energica isn't in Canada yet, but the Fortnine guys seem to ignore the electric motorcycles that don't fit with their narrative. They'll have a hard time ignoring an electric superbike MADE in Canada!
