I just received my Pittstop Groller (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PKQPLC3/ref=dp_iou_view_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1) today and just now used it to oil my Esse Esse 9 chain.
See here. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yl1E67c0fmA) It is not as wide as the tire, but has no need to be when the bike is on the sidestand.
It felt safer to me when I used my Bullet Brake (https://www.bulletbrake.com/) to lock the front wheel.
It's probably a size too small for my Energica, but it worked fine, because only the edge of the tire has to be on it, which is what happens when on the sidestand. I will also use it for my DR200SE and Kaw 650.

Just buy a paddockstand, you can clean/oil the chain and remove the rear wheel wen needed.

Thanks for that! In was wondering what would fit the rear wheel. But what do you use to remove the front wheel on an Energica?
I have several of those stands that I have not yet tried. Which is best to use on an Energica, and isn't using those a 2-man job?

Yeah I use a rearstand as well for chain and wheel maintenance. When it's up I put the kickstand up, put the bike in park assist or reverse, and get to cleaning. Very doable with 1 person, but if your balance isn't great it can be a 2 person job. The swingarms on these bikes are very wide and if you're not careful you can scuff them.

I'd go with Pit Bull front and rear stands.... Very high quality and well designed.... Pit Bull doesn't have a listing for an Energica front stand, but it is probably just a question of measuring for the proper pin #.... Very important, never try to lift with a front stand unless the rear is already up on a rear stand !!!! You need the triangulation for stability (center stand would also work)....

I bought a Groller too. It arrived in just one day. I gave it a try today on my KTM 390 and it is not quite as easy to use as it looks. It is hard to get the device lined up correctly, even with the KTM's relatively narrow 150mm wide tire. I think that it would have been better if I had ordered the larger model that can accommodate a 240mm tire. That would have made it a lot easier to center the tire on the rollers.

The Groller should only make contact with the edge of the tire when the bike is on the sidestand. BTW, I also ordered the large one. I tried them both out on my Energica. The size really made no difference from what I could tell on my Energica.
Both of mine also came in less than 24 hours after the order (Amazon Prime).
My two other chain bikes are in Reno. The Kaw and the Suzuki, so I have not yet tried either on those.
Perhaps things are different on a KTM.

I don't think so. I think it is just me trying to figure out how to get the tire properly aligned. It is likely going to take more practice. If you can do it, I guess I will be able to figure out how to use it too. ;)

I just tried my smaller Groller on my Suzuki DR200SE. But I have knobies on it and that makes the Groller worthless. I see they are sensitive to the type of thread. The less thread the better the Groller works.
So I gave up on that and decided to ride the bike to Shadow's place out in the desert, mostly unpaved roads to near Pyramid Lake.
I would have taken my Zero DR, but I needed to give the DR200SE some exercise, I have not ridden it for months. Seems so gutless compared to my DS.

What size pin do you use with it? The 18MM seems to be too small and is the largest it comes with.
Also, I noticed it says it's only for sport bikes, makes me wonder if it is safe to use with my 2020 Esse Esse 9.

I can not find weight capacity information for the stand. Looks stable enough, just make sure you are also using a rear stand.
The hole in the Energica's lower triple tree is 23mm. Looking at the design of the stand if you used a smaller (18mm) pin would cause the upper black tube to carry the load. It would probably be fine but might cause stability issues and fairing clearance problems on an EGO.
Looking at the reviews on this identical stand sold under a different name, it looks like the Pitbull pins may fit. I can measure one of our Pitbull stands on Monday. I have been working with George @ Pitbull to design a pin that will work with our bikes.

Don I have zero experience with the referenced stand. I was just referencing that a 18mm pin is not the correct size for an Energica. Our bikes have a 23mm hole, the pins on all the stands I have here are22.5-22.75mm.
