Well, depends on air flow and squirt interval.
Intent is to cool the air boundary that contacts the pack and hoping for good turbulence to disburse around the sides/back of pack w/o dribbles...

This worries me. You're actively increasing the temperature delta between cells closer to the outside of the pack vs at the core.

I don't think there is a big difference between this and certain natural environmental changes. You can ride an electric motorcycle through a cold front that would drop the ambient air temperature significantly and quickly. You can ride an electric motorcycle into a rain shower. Both of those situations would increase the temperature delta between outside and inside cells.

Yeah, if it can't stand being misted, it's got greater problems.

I will be amazed if you notice any difference on how often you're in the yellow.
Even with my 2020 SS9-, I am often in the yellow on hot days like today, or after a fast charge. And it often stays in the yellow for more than fifty miles of easy riding.
I got a laugh out of that video. But really, I hope it works! And even if it does seem to work, you better be sure it's not just blowing the heat only off the thermistor.

Appreciate the feedback and cautionary notes.
Experiences w/ mist-spray injection on axial flux brushed traction motor to counter-act summer heat and high desert hybrid rocket propulsion efforts to keep oxidizer density optimal using similar evaporative technique gives me confidence on actions taken are rather benign to bike's operation and that some benefit will result.
The first experiment was to evaluate spray pattern and clunky nature for nozzle attachment. Spray setup had ~70psi using garden hose source - pump is adjustable and has higher pressure capability. A QD feature will be necessary for point of need deployment. Since top-box commissioning, energica tank-bag goes unused so it will be repurposed to stow, mist-heads, controller, pump, dedicated 12V battery and water bottle.
Next step. Planning to map the thermal conditions that result on the exterior of bike's pack to correlate green to yellow transition, 40C. Just ordered T/Cs from china they are too spendy otherwise so need to wait. Logger limited to 8-channels but nice that it operates on a 9V cell.

Blue=below 5C/41F
Green= 6C to 40C/ 42.8F to 104F
yellow=41C to 55C/ 106.8F to 131F
Red=above 55C/131F

Riding weather has been outstanding (PNW) so solving a non-issue SB low on the motivation meter.
Must be the high dork-factor or perhaps anticipation for playing w/ water on a brutally hot day...it's coming...

That is a super cool experiment. Have you thought about the side plates of the battery pack? If it is exposed then maybe it will cool better.
Did you get any result out of this?
I also considered:
fans
heat sinks
Drilling a small hole in the battery in the front, installing a tap to fit a hose and the pump air through the battery? That could be done with a very very small electric pump.

Interesting solution. I'd love to say I've seen the effect of rain on the battery temperature dropping faster but I haven't. Make sure to get an OBD reader to get the battery min and max temp values to check the effect.
I've done some checks while charging on the battery pack outside temperature readings. Just using an infrared temp reader so nothing fancy and only an estimate. But it was quickly clear to me that the black side covers of the 21.5 batteries are nowhere near the temp of the battery. Only the silver front and back parts were close. With the lower section of the silver front part almost spot on. Where you have that latch like opening (sealed but still).
Looks like you can position those outlets where you want, then I would definitely try there. Also good to have that temp to keep an eye on the delta BTW. I've seen as much as 5 degrees Celsius difference between low and max with normal usage. I wouldn't exceed that.
