I am selling my ElCons, will likely be selling my Zero soon and the buyer does not seem to be interested! Have two 3.3kW units available. These are the plug and play, no CAN communication. I also have a Y cable and a J plug adapter with two 5-15r plugs and one C13 plug for the onboard charger. For the full setup I’m asking $2000, which I think is fair considering the zero charge tank is $2300 plus installation! With this setup you can use only one at a time, use both plus the onboard, mount them in a box, on the body, in a milk crate like I have them, etc AND you get to keep your tank storage! Best of both worlds.

These were the ones Hollywood Electrics sold correct?
If you plug one into a standard US 15 amp outlet will it trip the breaker?
Also with no CAN will they shut off at a certain voltage? Will they balance the cells after a full charge alone.
My onboard is almost dead and I'm looking at options.

I didn’t buy these from Hollywood electrics, no. I got theee from ElCon in Sacramento. It will do 1.6kW on 110, and 3.3kW on 240. A single charger on one plug shouldn’t overload a normal circuit I don’t think. they shut off at 95% charger so I don’t know if they would truly balance the cells.

They will trip a 15a outlet, as they're above the 1.8kW that such an outlet can allow.

No they won't and no they are not. They will draw about the same as a Zero OBC on 120 VAC. These simply do NOT reduce the current as the AC voltage is increased (unlike Zero chargers) , so they are 3.3 KW at 240 VAC , but 1.65 KW at 120 VAC. 1.65 KW divided by 120 VAC=13.75 amps. That is under 15 amps.
In fact, when you buy them from Elcon, they come with 120 VAC plugs because they are mostly used for forklifts and many such places have more 120 VAC outlets as they are in no hurry as they will be charged overnight anyway. They are MOST often used with 120 VAC and that is why the stock plug is 120 VAC, but the 240 AC plug may be ordered (it just plugs in to the in-line connector on the cord).
But if they do need to charge twice as fast, they can simply change the plug-in plug and find a 240 VAC outlet, so they have the option. But we will more often use the opposite option, as we normally want to use the 240 VAC from J-1772 and charge at twice the speed.

So 1600 watts divided by 120 VAC is really only 13.33 amps. 14.54 amps if it is really 110 VAC used for the same power. But below 15 amps no matter what spec we use.

If you use the OBC with the Elcons, the Elcons will shut off at around ~95% SOC and then the OBC will take over and balance your cells as the OBC charges to 100% SOC.
So it's not much of an issue if the Elcons will balance the cells as long as the OBC is also being used.
Also, there is no issue using 120 VAC, it will just take twice as long to charge at half the current. But of course, each charger will then have to be on a separate AC outlet from a separate CB as two of them together will be back to 3.3 KW at 120 VAC. Same as using two Delta Q's at 120 VAC or a Delta Q and the OBC. each charger is just under 14 amps at 120 VAC regardless if the Elcons or a Zero charger. The Elcons will draw twice the current at 240 VAC to get the full 3.3 KW from a single charger. A zero Charger would burn out if they let the current increase in the same way, as it is not designed for 3.3KW and the power above the ~1.4 KW would turn to heat and burn out the charger in a few seconds.
