Title: Low mile 2014 Brammo Empulse PARTOUT

Looking to part out or sell my clean title 5k miles Empluse R. The bike stopped running due to a BMS issue with the stock VCU. However the bike does power up but just wint go into drive all components still work perfectly I simply don't have time to continue to software trouble shooting. The batteries are in perfect condition. All modules are balanced to 15V and Sevcon Gen 4 size 6 is also in perfect condition and already configured for the 6 speed manual motor. The complete parts would make a perfect turn key 40kw powertrain for another motorcycle build. I also have all the OEM fairings and parts. I'm curious if you are having the same issue as the Empulse I have here regarding the VCU. When I key the bike on it doesn't respond. However the brake lights, turn signals, and horn work. Otherwise the bike is dead. My research indicates the VCU died, and I've been looking for a replacement. Is this what you're experiencing as well? I've got someone coming out this summer with the diagnostic tools to attempt to confirm this and/or maybe flash the VCU to fix it.

my problem was more on the side of the stock bms taking a crap and preventing the bike to going into normal run mode. when the battery was actually in good working order.

yes the VCU functions properly i can turn the bike on as normal a view all parameters and mileage
