Here is another new electric motorcycle company with an off-road model (with a familiar model name ::) ) that appears to be an assembly of off-the-shelf parts placed on a motorcycle dirt bike chassis. It looks like something that someone could make at home using a repurposed ICE motorcycle chassis and some premium EV components. ;) The motor is a brushless 11KW model and the battery pack has a 2.7kWh rating. But with a price of $13K Euros for the off-road model and $14.5K Euros for a road-legal version, sales might not be too brisk:

I can't see anyone choosing it over an FX or Sur-ron.

They put the ends of the shock absorber roughly equidistant from the swingarm pivot.
Kind of flat track oriented, lack of fender at front and shield at rear.
That battery box looks large for the stated capacity. Real exact spec on the handlebar kind of vague in other places.

Looking at some of the components explains the price. It seems like they're intending it to be a serious flat track bike but it's way too underpowered for that. As a purely off road bike it's not as capable as something like an FX or Surron while being more expensive and overspecced, it makes a bit more sense on the road but even there it's still too expensive for the performance and the range will be on the edge of usable. They really need to make a cheaper model with lower end components if they want any hope of selling to anyone who doesn't just want something to put on display.

Doesn't look at all like it's a company interested in manufacturing & selling to the market, as opposed to a one-off project. Saroléa gives the same impression.

I don't consider any of these efforts interesting in the slightest. The important step is to get to significant volumes, and the barriers to that aren't going to be overcome by startups.

That is my thought, also. There needs to be more competition in the consumer market for electric motorcycles and more interest in actually manufacturing and promoting electric motorcycles by the major brands. Also, it wouldn't hurt if the general press mentioned electric motorcycles once in a while, including how quiet they are. That information should also be brought to the attention of government politicians and regulators to remind them that electric motorcycles should be politically supported every time they hear a loud cruiser or sport bike passes by.
I was kind of hoping that H-D's LiveWire would finally bring electric motorcycles into the light of day, but pricing it 1/3 higher than the market will bear has pretty much doomed it to a niche market. Plus, who wants to visit an H-D dealership and ask to see an EV instead of a "big twin"? ::)
