Title: Yammie Noob reviews the SR/F

It's neat seeing these gear heads riding an electric.

I don't think he ever got it out of Eco mode, tho, he didn't seem to know you could customize the settings at all.

He claims to have the high-end SR/F, but also says it takes four hours to charge?  That would make sense if he had the base model with the 3kW charger, but not the 6kW charger.  My "S" may only have a 13kWh battery, but with the 6kW Charge Tank the most I've sat at a charging station has been a little over an hour.

Maybe he thinks he needs to bring it up to 100% every time?  But four hours STILL doesn't compute.  Can someone help me understand?

Maybe he recharged the bike at an old L2 charging station or into a 240V home outlet? If he plugged into a typical 120V home outlet it would likely have taken about twice that amount of time to fully charge from completely empty. Or, perhaps his battery wasn't empty when he recharged?  I will have to watch that video later today.

I wouldn't expect anything he says to be factually correct, nor would I waste 20 minutes watching another of his shitty videos to get his opinion on anything.

My reading was when he said "high end" in regards to the SR/F, he was comparing it to other models. As in the SR/F is higher end than an FXS, S, or SR. He didn't mention if it was premium or not, and I'd guess it isn't.

As with lots of other "babies first e-moto" vids, he doesn't know anything about electric and so he doesn't have the jargon or literacy to really talk about the specs or even compare different electric bikes. I'd be surprised if at this point he understands what a KWH is. He said he has the bike for a couple months, so maybe he'll learn enough in that time to have a more informative video.

That said, his channel isn't a bastion of technical knowledge, it's a shitpost in video form. Meant to be entertaining to a certain demographic, not really meant to be educational.

Yeah, their videos are meant to be funny more than educational, but also get people excited about bikes.  I think he does that.

And he's known to go back and fix and correct old videos, too.

More positive than what I expected from the Noob. Not enough noise and rider engagement, too expensive and too little range. But it could have been worse.

Yeah, Spite's 'but you're not physically engaged!' seemed kinda... like he was ignoring what riding is supposed to be about.  I think also that they hadn't learned about any of the user settings made it seem dull in their hands.

Vetter makes the bikes sing, and Spite isn't much bigger.  So I kinda wish someone would show them the custom settings!

Here's his conclusion:  https://youtu.be/Vu1v3ymPfcA

Mine is that he can't read.
