For the SR/S, are these charging numbers even true?

Level 2:
0 percent to 95 percent: 1.3 hours
0 percent to 100 percent: 1.8 hours

They're a little longer than what Zero says, but I think Zero is doing the to 80%.

The article claims to be a long term test.  To me it seems the charging time for the zero would be with the optional extra 6kw charger but  not the cost or weight and no discussion on what to plug into.

Have to wonder if there are editors at RevZilla.

I posted this article on a BMW forum in their "other bikes" section and the first reply that I received said "Richard, put a plug in it".  ???

He does mention previously doing some long-term testing on other EV offerings "After studying the major electric offerings and testing seven of them (four of them long-term)".
Not that he did extended testing on the Livewire or the SR/S... Based on the amount of the article that is devoted to each bikes riding dynamics and this quote "I took both the SR/S and LiveWire out for some runs on my favorite twisty backroads", I do not think he spent more than a few hours on either bike.

A lot of articles (both for cars and bikes) use a combination of the authors feedback and technical specifications from manufactures. I highly doubt that they did in house testing of the charge times for the bikes. This is where mixups can occur, they quote the price (21,995) of a Premium SR/S but the charge times of the 12kW version ($24,295).

Say what you will I'm just happy they are showing EV's some love.  :-*

So true Demoni, I cringe watching guys who have reviewed 1000s of ice bikes try to figure out electric bike features.
"You can get a power tank to go farther and a charge tank to charge faster. (but not both guys)

The Zero SR/S Premium charged to 100 percent in around 90 minutes, using a Level 2 charger.

Oh. Guess who's likely got a v18 firmware bug!
