Title: Cycle World magazine is being sold off
Post by: Richard230 on September 20, 2020, 04:07:03 AM
Next month will be the last issue of the print version of Cycle World magazine. It has been bought by a finance company that apparently hopes that you will search motorcycle reviews online and then use their company to finance your purchase:  I might add that I subscribed to the magazine when they entered the market in 1962. I still have their February 1962 issue, along with many other issues from the 1960's, in addition to every Road Test Annual that they ever published. Those were the days when no dealer would give you a test ride and all of the information that you could obtain on a new model that you might want would have to come out of a published road test by Cycle World or one of the other monthly print magazines that entered the market during the late 1960's and early 1970's.
