Title: Downloading my bike's logs ..... and counting
Post by: Hero on my Zero on April 21, 2020, 02:16:50 AM
Bike: 2015 SR bought in 2018 with 4.000 km, now 11.000 km

Needed to review my bike's logs and so I connected over Bluetooth, activated the app and started the process.

And OMG, it takes its time to get to the 100%....

Did you say 100%? Yes I did, but ehhhhh, it is now at 115%..... Huh?! Ehhh, mmmm, does it need to go to 200% because it is 2 log files? Maybe, lets just wait (and wait, and wait, and wait), oh 195%, almost done then!

200%, yeah! Ehhh huh? 201%, 202%, 203% ...?

Same thing happens with me, just one of the many bugs and problems with the app. Pretty sure it eventually lit up the share button but it was usually more like 130% done, I may have had to press the back button to get a popup message or something like that. Even if the button doesn't light the logs should still be saved to your phone once they're downloaded.

That does not happen on my 2020 dsr, and I have downloaded the logs 7-8 times... :D

I had this problem when trying to keep the phone awoken during this process.

I retried without doing anything, just checking 5 minutes later and the progression was at 100% with the "send" button available.

the % only counts seconds, it does not seem to be any actual progression

I limited the download to the BMS log only and that worked perfectly fine.

I also always try to keep the phone alive, I will try without doing that as well.

The SDS platform logs are extracted through the MBB, so the BMS logs have to transfer over the internal CAN network to the MBB before being uploaded over Bluetooth. That's why MBB logs are relatively fast to access and BMS logs seem to take forever. Particularly if you have two BMS units like a Power Tank or a two-brick FX.

Tried this, same problem, it just goes on forever, again this time way above 100%
