This didn't always used to be like this, but today I couldn't figure out how to show the Zero FX or FXS specs with the upgraded battery.

The picture they show is the 7.2, but the specs listed are the 3.6 and I see no option to change it. Is everyone getting the same thing on their browser?

I had noticed they'd limited the details of the battery configurations.
But they added the MPG-e of the bike down at the bottom so you could calculate it yourself. (BatteryKW/(gallonKW/MPGe))*.88 (reduce by 15% for safe round-down).
So 7.2/(33.7/213)*.88 is 40 ^-^
Pretty much what you'd expect, doubling the numbers. KWh per mile varies wildly by rider, load, and path, tho, far more for bikes than cars.

PS, weirdly, adding weight to a Zero's load doesn't change its energy consumption as much as just changing the temperature or wind resistance. My assumption is that regen becomes more efficient as the bike gains weight, so you end up wasting less energy; weight also doesn't impact freeway range much since once moving, and object in motion stays in motion.

But they used to have those figures. I don't understand why they'd remove it.
I was trying to show the specs to somebody I know and ended up just linking an Internet review which quoted it correctly.

Zero also used to show something like a 350,000 mile battery life for the bikes with Power Tanks, but not any more. I suspect that they are becoming more conservative with their official specifications due to complaints from customers that their bikes didn't conform to Zero's published specifications or performance estimates. ??? Either that or whomever maintains their website is having a tough time with the kids while locked in their home. ;)

They removed all of the older model specs when they redesigned their webpage last September, too.
I assume they changed something in the background and just let all the old pages expire.
There is something to be said about making fewer claims and specifics - the average customer gets pretty lost in the details if you let them. Giving them less data makes the decision easier.
Doesn't help us owners and persnickety customers who want specific questions answered, tho.

Perhaps...but removing the "better" statistics will lead noobies into not wanting one at all.
Edit: I emailed Zero to let them know. I can't think of a reason why this would be beneficial to them.

They screwed it all up when they changed to 2020 models and added the SR/S. You could try changing the country at the top right of the page, you might find one that doesn't have the 3.6 as an option. For one of the selections, I think it was either France or "other Euro", it wouldn't show me any specs at all for some of the models.

Just use Archive.org's "Wayback Machine". I use it all the time to see information on the old school style pages for older models. Zero's website is way more aesthetically pleasing now, but the information is harder to access. I guess they didn't want to host all those extra pages since very few were accessing them, but it was cool they would let you compare year by year. Such is life.

maybe the attached file helps : it is a pocket brochure pdf file that is in the press kit that is available for download on the zero website. Right at the bottom banner you will see a link with "press kit" or "media kit"
