eScrambler from New Zealand announced
« on: February 21, 2020, 11:07:24 AM »

This one sounds pretty real, though the bike doesn't look real (apparently it's an actual working model)  https://electrek.co/2020/02/20/switch-motorcycles-escrambler-electric-motorcycle/

They're apparently putting it in races somewhere?

Good lines and shapes, but why oh why must the beards/turnups/wallet-on-chain types insist on putting utterly useless tyres on bikes? Some of us actually ride them instead of hang them in the front windows of barbers' shops.

Cas :)

Neat design (not sure what to call it -- maybe Cubist?), which includes the frame, and is pretty clean. It does indeed look like a 1970s scrambler;
Of course with no wind protection, anything above 100 km/h is going to be a bit uncomfortable.

The main question of course is whether these guys have the backing to get to production...

That's probably the point of the races.  It's a classic way to say your design is robust, and get investor interest.
