Thanks for sharing! Good to see actual pictures.

Do you have an idea of the added weight and do you feel the difference? At low speed or walking maybe?

I held the charger while it was not installed yet and it was about 5-10 kg in weight. I don’t notice the handling at all but I already had a motorcycle chainlock of 6 kg in the frunk before (I have to find a new place for that though)

I have found a new storage area for the motorcycle lockchain. You can easily take off the passenger seat with the key and have a little storage underneath that. But the rider seat is normally held down with a Torx screw. By replacing that (M6) torx screw with a thumb screw (link below) you can access the area underneath the rider seat.

This area is big enough to house the motorcycle lockchain that goes with my disc lock. It is a bit fiddly to get it in but it definately fits. I alos use a velcro strap to keep the chain weight off of the plastic underside of the subframe. See the pictures for more detail.

This way i can have the rapid charger and still have storage for the chain. Storage is a premium on any motorcycle.
The thumb screw is a very easy way to create some extra storage for small items (tools, tire fix kit, rags, gloves, small rain coat etc etc)

link for the thumb screw on ebay. I chose the M6x10 version :

There's even more storage space to be found under the passenger seat. Normally there is a little plastic tray where you can store some very small items. A tool kit would be too big for that area. BUT, if you remove that plastic tray, you can get a "lot" more storage.

But removing that plastic tray leaves a rather large gap on the side just underneath the passenger seat which is kinda ugly looking.
I cut off the side "wings" of the plastic storage tray and remounted them on the bike using the screws that normally hold the entire tray.

Now i can fit a motorcycle tire repair kit, some tools, a first aid kit AND a lightweight rain coat under there :)

The remains of the plastic storage tray are on the rider seat to show the difference and where to cut it.

Hi there, I have recently installed the Charging Tank in my Premium SR/S. I am lving in Germany. So almost all our public charging stations have 22kW and three phase. So perfectly fit to get full power of charging.
However I experienced on couple of Charging stations that I can charge with 6.6 kW = 63A only instead of full 11.7 kW.
Has anyone similar experience and any explanation ?
My assumption is that it is a protokoll issue between Zero and the Charging Station. Maybe due to the unbalanced charing from Zero. 3+3+6 kW on L1,L2,L3 ?

Is your cable a 3 phase 32A one? And did you have enough room in the battery? I get way lower output for example when I was at 75% and had a 80% target set.

I would love to charge at 12kw, with those 22kw stations all over the place here, but it hardly justifies to switch from SR to SRF as it would be the only real positive point for me :(

enjoy !
