Hi Guys,

I own a 2017 SR. When plugging in the electric cord;

- No clicking sound like I usually does.
- No green charging led on display
- No battery % number
- No remaining charge time
- No error codes on display when the bike is on
- I drives likes it normally does
- The LEDs on the front of the bike, behind the small round black plug/cover, is blinking green slow

Now, after 1 hour plugged in, the battery is from 7% to 8%.
I need to turn the bike on the check the battery level.
Yes, the wall outlet is working.

Anything more I can check before tacking it to the dealer?

Sounds like the bike is not charging at all. To get it charged up soon find someone with an off-board charger and try through the aux charging port. If that does work, maybe the onboard charger is going bad; otherwise maybe the battery bms is stuck and needs reset, or, the charging fuse is blown.

Thank you for the info. Jus tried it but does not solves te problem. Tried both a soft- and hard reset.

Can I check the fuse myself?

Did you try BOTH buttons at the SAME time to do a total reset?

There are a couple of fuses that we cannot easily get to. IIRC, there is one inside the battery and another deep inside the cable. I don't know about any other fuses for charging. Somebody else may have to help you with that info.

No, first I tried a soft reset, didn't work. After that I did a hard reset.
I now see the option to do both buttons. Let me check right now...

When pressing both reset buttons the bike makes a clicking sound one time.
Same sound when you plug in the power cored and it starts charging.
But...problem not solved.

Will check a fuses I can found later today.

Sounds like the contactor engaged.

Try holding both buttons in for about 15 seconds or more and then release them both at the same time. And then try to charge again.

I hope I am wrong, but I don't think your problem can be any fuse that you can easily get to.

15 seconds didn't work either.
I don't think it is one of the Fuses either but that is one of the lasts things I can check myself.
The nearest Zero Dealer is a 1 hour drive so that would be my last option.

Today the dealer contacted ZERO. They made a connection with the bike but found no problem. Monday the will do research on the bike.

No news yet.... dealer is busy with other things than my bike...

hmm, charger broken on my 2,5 years old Zero. Needs to be replaced. 1400 euro. No warranty off course.... pfff.

Common problem for them to crap out.

I always use a couple of quick chargers with mine (even when I have all night to charge) just so the onboard charger is not on nearly as long, which greatly reduces the time for it to stay hot.

So far, both of my 2017 on-board chargers are still fine, always charging the bike above 3KW, sometimes as high as 8.3 KW with a couple of 2.5 KW Elcons added in.
