The reviewer's ignorance of the remainder of the model line or the custom torque mode is probably the weakest point in it.  But on the other hand, they constantly compare it favorably to ICE bikes.

Cool article, tho ^-^

It will take a while for people to become experienced with Zeros (or any EV). This author being "experienced with electric motorcycles" is better than most. His positive response was largely due to being guided on a ride, as most OEMs do on a bike rollout, rather than simply being turned loose on a product they don't really understand. Proactive training of journos during guided rides with ideal roads chosen to highlight the bike's performance while photographers provide publication ready images is how the big guys do it. Flights meals and housing is of course provided. That's a budget stretch for Zero, but that's how it's done.

Yeah, I've been following a few EV journalists who reveal their production cycle.

It just seemed like an odd thing, of course Zero didn't understand his question, there are up to ten Custom settings one could for up and down the mountain!  Alas at the communication miscue.

Another journalist I read mistook the SR for the S in her report.  At least she got the price right tho! ^-^  Admittedly, she's only ever ridden an SR, I think, so it was probably just a fumble.

The writer also confused the Power Tank with the Charge Tank, which is extremely common and indicates that these products just aren't named right.

To someone listening at Zero, please rebrand these. At least rename the Charge Tank to Charging Tank so it's clear that it moves charge, not stores it.
