This is an all electric, street legal, dual sport motorcycle weighing 289 lbs. It's got the torque of a 450-500cc dirt bike, but cruises smoothly on the highway at 70+mph with a top speed just shy of 90 mph. Range is completely dependent on how much speed and throttle you use. I found it averaged around 60 miles a ride at normal speeds. It takes between 9-10 hours to recharge from 0-100% and plugs directly into any 110v wall socket. No need to stop at the gas station, you start with a "full tank" every ride.
It has no gears making it an extremely easy bike to ride. Just twist the throttle and go. No heat, loud noise, vibration, etc. Feels like riding a big bicycle. It has three different ride modes. Eco, Sport and Custom. The Custom mode can be adjusted using a smart phone app. I've currently got Custom mode setup as a slow mode with Eco being middle power and Sport giving you 100% of the available power.
Zero has sold out of their 2019 year model bikes and won't be delivering more to dealers for a few months. This is a good opportunity to get a great deal on a 2019 model with factory warranty. This is the lowest maintenance motorcycle I've ever owned. It needs no gas, no oil, no oil filter, no coolant, no chain to lube, very few moving parts.
About the bike:
I am the original owner, purchased it new on 2/20/2019.
It's got 2020 miles on it and will go up slowly until sold.
New the bike comes with a 5 year transferable warranty on the battery which is good until 2/20/2024
Also comes with a 2 year transferable warranty on everything else that is good until 2/20/2021
