You experience is the opposite of mine and every rider's I know -- on every motorcycle/moped/scooter I've ever owned turn incandescent signal lamps had to replaced about once every 2 years at most
(that's one out of the four signals, not for each one). And about the same for rear light & brake light. It's been slightly better for cars, but not by much.
Perhaps has mostly to do with vibrations caused by riding style and type of bike. Or if voltage is on the high side. I am mostly a touring rider and I do not ever recall changing a turn signal bulb on a motorcycle--but I have  on cars.

Newer incandescents are just flatly more reliable than ones forty years ago, too.

Hi,

Sorry to bring back an old thread but... I just ordered new turn signal. I guess they will come just with simple wire connector. Can anybody point me to the right connector adaptor for the Energicas?

Thanks!

The easiest way would be to cut and splice the connectors from the stock signals onto the new ones.

If you do not want to sacrifice the stock units you can purchase the components needed to build connectors that are compatible with the factory harness.
You will need to use the appropriate crimping tools for the pins.
