I won't be going to the meeting as I can only travel about 90 miles before my Zero needs an overnight charge.  Besides I plan to meet some friends on the morning of Aug. 10 at Alice's Restaurant for breakfast. So enjoy your event.
Okay, have fun at Alice's. I have been there too, of course, many years ago.

I would say you need some chargers, but I see you have ICE bikes for the longer trips.

I even like my SR for longer trips as long as there are charging stations on the way. I charge at 6.3 KW while on the road. Before I got my new Elcons, I charged at half that by carrying two Zero Delta-Q chargers or whatever they are called. At home, I sometimes use both (two Elcons plus two Zero chargers) and charge at 8.3 KW.

Here is their SS-9 model as of last Saturday.
Is that a 2020 model in the photo? What has changed from 2019, if anything?

I can't recall what the price tag said about the model year.  The tag really didn't say much, unlike the BMW price tags which are quite detailed about the equipment and features of each model. Mostly what I noticed was the price of $20,600 "and up".   ???

Like MVetter said, 2020 models now have cruise control and traction control. Previous years only had ABS. Heated grips, Öhlins suspension and other accessories are still extra.

I will want mine with the sidebags, tankbag and windscreen. I don't think I need any of the other options (or what to you recommend?). What should I expect the out the door price to be?  I am guessing around 25K$. Am I close?

What is the longest trip you have done on your bike so far?  And what would you say your range has been on and off the freeway?

BTW, I just noticed that the Rocklin Harley Dealer now has their CCS and J-plug charging at their shop according to Plugshare. I wonder if they have the Livewire in yet. I may go down there as early as tomorrow and take a look.

What is the longest trip you have done on your bike so far?

Brandon took that exact same bike and, on two different days did ~650 miles one time and 821 the other. You should also watch Rick Flashman and Sabrina Adams on the Energica Facebook group as they're road tripping around the SouthEast US.

Yeah, by the time you add side cases, windscreen and a tank bag plus tax, license and fees you're probably looking at 26k'ish out the door. I have the side cases on order to replace my Kriega drypacks as commuting storage (I'll still use the Kriegas if I ever need more capacity) and I have the Energica windscreen installed.

To be honest, I haven't noticed much difference in range on or off the freeway with the windscreen installed. It's about the size of a large number plate. If you get it, don't be surprised if you end up replacing it with something bigger and/or more aerodynamic.

Personally, I don't like the idea of a tank bag covering up the cool looking lighted logo on the VCU cover ("tank"). When we meet up this Saturday, you'll see my 10 liter Kriega drypack. I think something similar to the Kriegas will provide more versatility than a tank bag if the side cases aren't sufficient. Not that I'm a Kriega rep or anything but they come in 30 liter, 20 liter, and 10 liter sizes and you can attach the various drypaks to each other to increase storage as needed.

The longest ride I've taken on mine is from the dealer to home (Mountain View to Antioch or ~70 miles) where I stop in Pleasanton at a fast charger to recharge (my job has one and there's on at the Stoneridge Mall outside Buckhorn's). At ~70mph of pure freeway riding I use up 70% charge to go 38 miles. To be fair, I'm a big guy (250lbs) so when you add on riding gear and any kind of luggage it doesn't surprise me that I don't get the same range figures as other owners have reported.

I like seat pack luggage the fastens to the passenger seat. In particular, I really like the RKA 18-liter Star II seat bag. I have one on all of my motorcycles, including my Zero. An excellent design that is very well made and can be removed and reinstalled in seconds. Plus, it has a carrying handle and a carry shoulder strap.

Tomorrow, I will take my SR to the Harley  shop in Rocklin and perhaps check into their charge station on PlugShare.  But I think they have a small fee for non- Livewires. I will know more when I get there. But they have a J-plug as well as CCS.
For them to charge for a Jplug may not work well there. Right across the freeway from them there is free to use J-plug that I have used many times.

I will see if they have the LiveWire, as dealers are supposed to be getting them this month. Not that I have any interest in buying such. Seems like a rip-off for the 30K$ pricetag compared to the other bikes, like yours.

I just checked on-line, they are closed on Mondays, so I will do that trip tomorrow (Tuesday). I will post about it in the LiveWire section after that trip.

That means around 54 miles at 100% used and there is probably some "reserve". An hour on the freeway at 70 MPH  is not bad for range, as long as there are places to charge.

But do you know what your city range is? Say at 35 MPH?

I wish they would do what Tesla does and have a chart for range versus speed. My Tesla Model Three has a 420 mile range at 38 MPH, 310 miles at 65 MPH.  At less or more than 38 MPH the  range decreases. I would like to know which speed gives the very best range on all my bikes. But I expect my Zeros to peak in range  at around 20 or 25 MPH, less than where the Tesla drops off from slow speed driving.

I can’t give range figures for cruising at 35mph since I have issues staying off the throttle even when cruising through town. ;) If I take all surface streets into work it’s a 34 mile trip each way. I do end up with a couple of pretty steep hills on that route and a couple of spots where speeds can reach 70mph but for the most part the route averages about 45mph with a lot of lights. In that case I use about 40% battery to go that 34 miles but I’m sure I can do even better if I stay within 5mph of the speed limit the entire route.

I normally take  the  side streets on my electric motorcycles. I am retired and I am rarely in a hurry. Even when I go to meet you in Elk Grove, I will take mostly the small streets all the way down as that doubles my range on a charge.  On longer rides, we get places the fastest by going slow as that way as we do not have to recharge nearly as long.

But would you guess your range around doubles when you go half the speed on your Energica, as with my Zeros?

I would say a rough doubling of range highway vs city riding is pretty accurate if you stay within ~5mph of posted speed limits.

Have you tried all there models of the Energicas?  At least sit on them all?  I wonder how the riding position compares. I  could end up buying to most expensive one, the red one with the frame mounted fairing, if it fits me well. It sure looks nice from the photos, but looks is the last thing on my list when buying a bike. I can't look at it while riding!
