Tragic for the series. Good to hear there were no injuries.

This will be all over the ICE news as a reason to never race electrics. I hate to say it, but I hope they discover it was arson by a disgruntled worker or ICE fan. If it was runaway heat buildup from charging ... Oy.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.  Also, not a good idea to have all of the bikes in ONE place... but the alternative would be AWFULLY expensive (having multiple charging stations scattered all over the paddock).

Huge shame supper bummed out right now. The factory will rebuild, on with the show.

On a lighter note the test fottage from the event looked really good, lots of teams were really excited.

Causing me second thoughts about keeping a Emotorcycle in my garage. A better place might be the shed out back.

It wasn't the bikes that caused the fire.

Everyone can have problems with electricity - even the British.   ;D

Here's an article with press releases from Dorna and Energica saying the show will go on:

Any truth in the rumour that someone from Zero was seen nearby with a box of matches and 18 SR/Fs in the back of a truck?

I still think it was a Lucas charger that shorted out.   :(
