That is a good thing. But will Trump allow government agencies purchase an electric motorcycle, especially if he finds out that it uses Chinese-made components?  ::)

Speaking of that sort of thing: I wonder what the latest tariff plan is going to do to Zero's manufacturing costs and the MSRP of their motorcycles?  Probably nothing good.  :(

That weight seems impossible. Maybe the shipping weight with the crate and some extra batteries?

Maybe the shipping box also includes one of these. After all it is an "authority" vehicle.  ;D

That's the shipping weight, the item weight your agency will have to pay to ship/able to receive. Crate and all accessories, correct.

At least the recoilless rifle would help explain the $18k price for an FX with a blue light.

If I recall, the MX / FX came into being because the government required a 60 second from empty to full charge time.
The price and weight could be reflected in an extra set of batteries and cabling to charge off board.

The DSR IS fully equipped, including the rack and trunk, saddlebags and mounts, crash bars, fairing, hand guards....are any of the accessories Zero offers NOT on this bike? It may even have a charge tank or power tank, and/or fast charger mounted in the trunk or a saddlebag. It may also have special equipment like radios and such, though I don't see any extra lighting mounted to the crash bars. All told, including labor for installation of all that stuff, crating, shipping and a reasonable profit for the supplier, and I don't think the price is that far out of whack. All that crap adds up.

Can anybody figure out what that thing is that appears to be suspended above the "gas tank"?
