Anyone familiar with the issue of their clock not updating after being set? Seems like a simple problem however latest update and shop could not remedy. Any help would is appreciated.

Is the odometer not functioning? Does the screen show EEE on boot? If either of these is the case, the instrument cluster may have a worn out battery and needs replacing.

Although, basically any malfunction with the display means you need to replace the whole thing.

ODO works fine but yes EEE is present. Time just stays as it is set. Thanks for the reply Brian, trying to get it in for service.

The clock on my '15 SR simply stays at "00:00".  I've taken the time to set it properly once, but after bike restart, it was back to "00:00".  Everything else on the display works fine.

I may have confused the odometer triage logic; it may fail for unrelated reasons.

I guess the question is whether the instrument cluster battery failure can lead to clock memory failing first. I think the answer is yes.

Interesting! My odometer isn’t working anymore, even though the trip odometer still works fine (2016 Zero S). I’ll see if I can find a battery in the display, and replace it if I do.
