PLY smart helmet
« on: August 22, 2018, 04:07:04 AM »

You might find this new helmet interesting and it looks like it might have an affordable price, too:

One plus is that it isn't made by Skully.  ::)

At $500 per helmet (less than a Schuberth's price), it's probably a pretty basic helmet with a $300 comms/data package.

I have to say I do like where this is going, I already have a Bluetooth comm set in my helmet and wouldn't want to go back. It's so nice to be able to listen to music and be able to navigate purely with audio.
Lot's of riders already have helmet cams for obvious reasons but having on integrated helps a lot with combatting noise and also makes you look less like a twat with a gopro sticking out.

They got the camera on the wrong side. I want one in the back of the helmet to function as a backup/rear-view camera.
