National Drive Electric Week, September 8-16, 2018, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. They are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Are you considering going electric? Come talk to owners who have successfully done so.

These things are fun.  Glad I went the year we had Charger running around the community college lot, and Terry on his Zero behind Charger, and Luke in the passenger seat, running a quadcopter overhead.  That was something.

Excellent reminder. These events are casual and fun. Interesting to see how Tesla Model 3 completely outclasses all other brands and models, and it is brand new on the market only.

Speaking of the Model 3, I saw one yesterday parked in the driveway of a home about 1/4 mile from me.  It was all white and didn't stand out very much until I noticed the Tesla symbol on the front of the car.

I signed up for the San Mateo, CA event.  It looks like two Energica models will be on display, but no Zeros.

I’ll be in SF for this one. At the pier, then drop by Volta after.

I take it you're the one with the Zero to show up in Reno, right?

I have no idea what these things are about, but I can show up there  to find out, as I will then be in Reno anyway.

I just now registered.

]Yes. Excellent!
I expect to be there at around 1100 hrs. If I should arrive at a different time, just let me know.  On Sundays, I have breakfast with my Reno riding group ( of ICE bikes) and we are usually done with that just before 1100 hrs.

I registered for the Issaquah event.  I apparently will be one of two Zeros in attendance. I will have my new 2018 Zero DSR .

Progress!  Now up to 69.  Still falling short of last year, though.
