Thank you for the post with link.  I have been attempting to contact that outfit but nothing yet.

Would you know of a link to the factory spec for the 2011 XU Battery?  Since I have two dead batteries I am considering building my own as others have done vs. sending it out.  Thanks for all your help.

FYI Shadow:  I sent my batteries off to Best Hybrid Batteries and Mike was extraordinary.  He communicated clearly my options then kept me abreast of all stages of testing.  I am getting the batteries back in a few days and cannot wait to bring the bike back to life.

Good to hear! Keep us posted, and please feel free to add anything the shop might want to have known about their services. Battery module rebuilding is a topic that appears occasionally and is best directed to a shop with the resources to do this work safely and competently. The future I think is in EV repair shops and not franchise dealerships, anyways.

For anyone that wants to obtain EIG cells in the factory holders we have some spares here £30 each.
They can be used to replace the earlier molicel batteries from 2009 & 2010 models.
You will need to manufacture bus bars yourself and get the small M3 screws.
We may be able to quote for our supplier to do this for a 2P bus bar in aluminum.
These are factory packaged brand new and boxed and late type with extra plastic cell dividers on the cell and each cell individually serial numbered.
The buyer must organize shipping. Remember these cannot be flown internationally and are classed as hazardous cargo. Please do your shipping research first if you are considering it.
These are from the UK.
An indemnity will be required if using them in a Zero bike.
