The drop for Germany is probably related to BMW-Evo success. In France they sell 830 units per year, compared to 200 for Zero. Also they have a strong reputation for quality (as well as expensive service), while Zero has been inconsistent (better than BMW for battery replacement which is a strong part of the marketing, but awfully bad in some other situations where customers - including myself - got stuck into struggles between dealers and Zero Europe)

Those German sales look pretty good.  I wonder why the drop in 2017?  But things are looking up for 2018.
