Worldwide sales figures Zero
« on: July 20, 2018, 01:19:08 PM »

Like to know numbers:
• Zero's sold in each country
• Zero's sold in every year
• Zero models

Would be interesting to see if there is small or huge increase.  ???  :o

Wow. The DSR really is their best selling bike, at least in the Netherlands.

Total sales figures are not generally available outside of France and apparently NL. Usually, people extrapolate from reported serial numbers from bikes.

FWIW I think the DSR sells the best, because it is the "least small" bike they deliver.

I think if they delivered a lower bike that was at least FX-sized, like the discontinued XU, it would also sell in similar numbers (if lower margins which obviously isn't that attractive).

Well, all bikes are registrated for licence plate and stuff.
So if you have a country showing it, that is how I found it.
The goverment has no commercial interest, so maybe try find te numbers in your country also like this.

For me the DS[R] was and is the "most bike" they sell.
The S[R] looks a little too much like a starters bike such as a Honda CB250/500.
Also I like ALL-roads more because I (and most in the Netherlands) are quite tall.

Good improvement for the models DSR and S vs 18/17.

The problem concerning for example the German sales figures is that a lot of dealers register bikes as demonstrators. With such a small market this makes it difficult to say now many bikes were sold to individual customers.

Well, the bikes are so expensive, the demo's going to the market after 1year will be sold 2nd hand in notime for sure.
So if you know the numbers, please share.

Those German sales look pretty good.  I wonder why the drop in 2017?  But things are looking up for 2018.  :)

Attached for France. The split between models is difficult to read because some sales are reported as "ZF" models, which might be S/SR or FX.
Total sold per year is 211 models, which is very small, and probably translates into ~2000 sales globally = 20 M$ sales company.

2018 Zero Netherlands
DS 12
DSR 46
FX 3
FXS 2
S 7
SR 14
