Just split all connectors behind headlights / dash and sprayed WD40 for connectivity. And it freakin' worked!

Not anymore. Problem back after few days [emoji24] Annoying!
Must somehow have “touched” the right connector though?
So at it again next weekend.

WD-40 isn't what you really want. Yes, it will repel water just fine, but it's not particularly good for electrical connections. Get some contact cleaner and some dielectric grease (both should be available at any auto parts store), spray well with the contact cleaner, then pack AROUND the connector body with the dielectric grease to seal the connection. Contrary to how most people use it, dielectric grease isn't really intended to coat the contacts themselves.

Incredible Bike. Only 2 months and already 6000km / 3700 Miles without having yet the opportunity to use it during hollidays...
Maximum distance covered in a single day : 530km.

I surprised fellows and colleages when I showed them how many stats I could have from the Bike (using dedicated Metrics app) : I can confirm that average real consumption is 67Wh/km and real range is 300km@50km/h, 250km@70km/h, 190km@90km/h and 125km@110km/h (Zero DS 2018 14.4KWh with ChargeTank).

Wow, mine is between 80 and 110W/km.......
But a 2013 DS is hopefully the main reason.

But average of 67W/km.... maybe if I'm being pulled by a car on a straight road in a vacuum?  :-\

No sorry: it's possible, also with my bike if I do 80% of driving below 80km/h.
I just don't have it a lot on my commute  ;-(

No problems here, other than a loud brake noise and vibration from my front brake when stopping hard during the last three feet of the stop. Cleaning the brake disc of pad powder helps for a short time, but then it returns.  I don't blame Zero for that noise, just J.Juan for their selection of brake pads.  If it ever irritates me too much, I have a new set of EBC pads ready to go.  ;)
Did you try some of that brake quiet stuff on the rear of the front brake pads?

My 2017SR had a very loud front break squeal almost every stop. Was an easy fix, but not quite perfect. I now sometimes hear a very weak  squeal stopping at very slow speeds, but nothing like before, when it happened every time I put on the front brake at any speed. The way it is now, I can easily live with.

With my 2017DS, it never had any  brake squeal at all.

I was hoping that the squeal would go away, but no luck after almost a year of riding.  I bought a new set of EBC pads and should probably install those sometime this winter. There is definitely some sort of incapability between the stock pads and the rotor material.  :(

The new pads may not fix the problem. Try something like this instead:

FWIW, my DS never had any trace of the sequel. But my SR had it since new. But I have had this problem on many vehicles and it has  always been an easy fix. Especially on our Zeros. It may take all of 15 seconds to get your old pads out. Just spray the BACK of the brake pads. Onto the metal ONLY. You have to wait five or ten minutes before you reinstall the pads. The stuff has to dry a little before you put the pads back in. That is what takes the most time of the entire job.

Calibers do NOT have to be removed to take the brake pads out, Just remove the small Torx (T-25) screw, which is on the very bottom of the brake caliper, and the pads come out.

Thanks Don.  I think I will go to the local O'Reily's auto supply store today and see what they have in the way of an anti-squeal coating and give that a try. (I know that they don't carry Liqui Moly products, though.)

The video was just to show how it's done.

I got my stuff at O'Reilly's.

For brake cleaner, I used O'Reilly Brake Parts Cleaner (#46580) in a red container. For the Disk Brake Quiet, I used Permatex (item #80077), also from O'Reilly in a blue container).

I just bought the Permatex spray from O'Reilly for $8 and have already sprayed my brake pads. I'll give them a try tomorrow. Interestingly, it seems to be exactly the same bottle and instructions as the Liqui Moly product.  ::)

I've just filled in the poll. Saw the news that Alta died and logged in to see what's been happening on this forum. Been gone from it several years. Had a 2012XU that was nothing but trouble. dealings with Zero were not what they could have been, either. Search the forums under my name if interested.

Your poll is unlikely to pick up those who've given up on Zero in disgust, as they're unlikely to visit this forum. I'm a case in point. It's a bias that you're unlikely to be able to assess, but worth remembering.

Sorry for your experience with 2012, but this is 2013+ forum wich is really a different bike.
Maybe test ride a new1?

Also I think most riders that are completely satisfied with their bike will also not be on a forum, because not looking for answers....
